Our foodbank relies on your generosity and support.
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Hollingdean and Fiveways foodbank.
Your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food. All food and stock items that are donated to us are distributed free of charge to those in the local community who find themselves in a time of hardship and crisis.
Our shopping list on this page shows the food items that we need right now as well as our top 5 items that we regularly run low on.
We only accept in date long life food items that are in original packaging which is unopened. Please do not gift wrap food items. Although we encourage clients to bring their own bags and most do, we are always in need good quality carrier bags.
There are 3 ways to get food to us:
- If you are happy to drop off food donations, please bring them directly to the foodbank – address and opening times below. If there are just a couple of items you can place them in the donations basket at the front door between 9am and 5pm.
- We also welcome online supermarket food shop deliveries, please only order long life and non-perishable items (nb nothing refrigerated or frozen please) Use the address below and if possible choose a delivery slot between 9-10am or 2pm -4pm. Deliveries must come on MONDAYS ONLYHollingdean foodbank address: St. Richards church, Beale Crescent, BN1 7DY our office opens at 9am and closes at 5pm

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
